As a mom and biochemist, I created Little Sprouties to go beyond typical baby foods. You can trust that each meal is thoughtfully crafted with whole grains, legumes, and veggies—not just for balanced nutrition, but to help your little one learn how wholesome foods look, feel, and taste, preventing picky eating and fostering a lifelong love for veggies.

Setting a New Standard for Children’s Food

Since the early 1900s, commercial baby and toddler food sadly hasn’t changed much. Most products still rely on the same 12 ingredients—mostly fruits—while missing out on important wholegrains, beans, seeds, and healthy fats. This limits the range of nutrients children get. While convenient for snacking on the go, these products aren’t complete meals. At Little Sprouties, we believe there’s a much better way, with more diverse, balanced nutrition in every meal. And we promise to go that extra mile.

Typical Baby Food

  • Mostly a simple 2-ingredient mix with fruits for sweetness
  • Lacks protein and healthy fats
  • Single-texture, usually a smooth puree, doesn’t teach texture or chewing
  • Beige color and consumed through a spout, so kids don’t engage with the food visuall
  • Bland, rarely includes herbs or spices, offering little flavor variety

What’s so special about your food?

At Little Sprouties, we take your little one’s nutrition seriously. Unlike others, we stick to pediatric nutrition guidelines to make sure our products are just right for babies and toddlers.

Every ingredient we use is carefully chosen for its nutritional value, not just thrown in randomly. We believe in being honest—no buzzwords, no false claims, no sugar-coating.

Experts agree that kids need more whole plant foods like whole grains, beans, lentils, fruits, veggies, nuts, and seeds. That’s exactly what we focus on. These wholesome foods are the heart of everything we create.

Your food will arrive cold or frozen in an insulated box 📦. Each item has a production label with the date of production and expiry.

Meals (glass jars):
Our meals come professionally sealed in glass jars with a shelf life of 7 days when stored in the fridge at 4 degrees Celsius. Once the jar is opened, food should be consumed within 48hrs (while still kept in the refrigerator)😋.

Frozen products:
Frozen products need to go into the freezer and have a shelf life of 1-3 months depending on the product.

Yes! These are freshly cooked meals just like you’d cook at home. To freeze, transfer to a plastic or silicon container and place it in the freezer.

Most of our ingredients are organic and we work with local partners to incorporate as many organic ingredients as possible. You can find a full listing of our ingredients on the nutrition fact labels of each meal, which also indicates which ingredients are organic.

No. We do not use any animal products in any of our foods (no meat, no poultry, no fish, no eggs, no bone broth, no milk, no cheese, yogurt or butter).

Our approach is whole-food, plant-based because we want to offer you precisely those foods that are hard to do for parents and help you shape your child’s palate for these vitally important foods.

Wholegrains, legumes (beans & lentils) and vegetables are what babies and toddlers lack most, and these ingredients form the core of all our products.

Feel free to supplement our meals with a piece of meat, a sprinkle of cheese or a dollop of yogurt!

We create nutrition fact labels for each meal which also contain allergen information. A summary of allergens is also provided directly on the product pages.

Yes, we do! Each meal has nutrition fact labels with ingredients, nutrition information and allergens.

Most of our products are fully cooked and ready to eat. You can find cooking instructions either on the product pages on our site or directly on the packaging. Our meals come in vacuum glass jars which are microwave safe. Before warming you need to open the glass jar to break the vacuum. To open a jar: hold the lid of the jar with one hand and pull the tab straight out (not up) with the other hand. To heat the food, remove the rubber ring, warm the food (lid on or off) directly in the glass jar either using a microwave or an oven. You can also transfer the food into a small pot and heat it on the stove top. You may want to add a sprinkle of water when heating meals to retain consistency and creaminess. Tip: You can also heat the meals in the morning and transfer them to a thermos to keep the food warm for a few hours so that your child can take them to nursery.

It’s super easy! We make food for babies and toddlers and deliver it to you. Simply check out our weekly changing menu and select the foods you like most, proceed to checkout and your box will be delivered straight to your door! Note that we cook fresh to order and only deliver on Wednesdays and Sundays.
